Libertà di pensiero???? Si lo so è una cosa grossa, importante. Ma quello che interessa a noi non è la libertà con la L maiuscola, quella di cui si discute in televisione e per la quale (si dice) si combattono sempre più guerre. A noi interessa parlare della libertà delle piccole cose, dei piccoli gesti. La libertà dei clown, la libertà dei bambini, la libertà di riscoprire fantasia e creatività. La libertà che ti fa ballare sotto la piaggia, buttarti per terra e sporcati tutto, ridere di se stessi e del mondo ...
Per questo motivo abbiamo deciso di definire il paese degli Zanzeri, Zanzerolandia, il paese della fantasia. Ci piace immaginare un paese in cui proporre il colore e la simpatia dei clown, le vibrazioni della musica dal vivo e la suggestione di personaggi sui trampoli. Tutto questo in un contesto di interazione e d'interscambio con il pubblico, ci piace pensare che le persone abbiano ancora voglia di fare domande, di fare commenti e battute e che non siano rassegnate allo spettacolo televisivo. Ci piace pensare che sia ancora possibile fare spettacolo dal vivo, fare uno spettacolo semplice, emotivo ed empatico, con meno effetti speciali e giochi di luce e più rapporto umano. Riteniamo sia meglio portare lo spettacolo, la cultura e l'arte nelle strade dove vive la gente piuttosto che la vita delle persone in televisione. Ci piace lavorare in strada ed emozionarci osservando lo sguardo stupito con cui un bimbo dice al babbo: " quel signore alto non ha i piedi". Ci piace strappare un sorriso a passanti frettolosi. Ci piacciono i piccoli negozi e le bottege. Ci piace la gente, la sua fantasia e la sua creatività ...
